Your use of the Satoyama Development Mechanism (SDM) website at https://sdm.satoyama-initiative.org/ (“Website”) including the content and other materials available on this Website excluding third-party links and content (together, “the Materials”) is governed by these Terms of Use (“Terms”). By using this Website, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to be bound by these Terms.
The United Nations University Institute for the Advanced Study of Sustainability (UNU-IAS) reserves the right to change these Terms at any time. Your continued use of this Website following any amendment, modification or change to these Terms shall constitute your acceptance thereof.

Unless otherwise indicated on this Website, the Materials contained on this Website are the property of the United Nations University (UNU), of which UNU-IAS is an integral part, and are protected by applicable copyright, trademark and other intellectual property laws.
b. Permitted use
Except where otherwise specified, the contents (text, video, graphics, photography) of the Website are licensed by UNU under a Creative Commons Attribution-Noncommercial-Share Alike 3.0 IGO License. Your fair use and other rights are in no way affected by the above. You must give appropriate credit to UNU by using the citation associated with the relevant Material, or, if no specific citation is available, you must cite the source information using the following format: UNU (year), (material name), (data source) DOI or URL (accessed on (date)). Further, you represent and warrant that:

Dispute Settlement
Any dispute between the Parties concerning the interpretation or application of this Agreement, which cannot be settled amicably, shall be submitted, at the request of either Party to the dispute, to arbitration in accordance with the United Nations Commission on International Trade Law (UNCITRAL) Arbitration Rules then obtaining. The Parties agree to be bound by the arbitration award rendered under this paragraph as the final adjudication of the dispute.
Non-Waiver of Privilege and Immunities
Nothing in these Terms shall be deemed to be a waiver, express or implied, of the privileges and immunities of the United Nations or of UNU, which is an autonomous organ of the General Assembly thereof or of UNU-IAS which is an integral part of UNU.
